On 12 June 2014 we held our fifth annual HighQ Forum, London, our client event where we unveil our latest products and inspire our clients to use their existing instances in new and powerful ways.

This year we held the forum at the DoubleTree Tower of London Hotel, where we welcomed some 80 clients and guests to hear talks, network, and find out the latest news from HighQ.

Talks were kicked off by Lee Bryant of POST*SHIFT who provided the keynote speech about building 21st century business and what tomorrow’s law firms would look like if they were built from the ground up as natively digital organisations.

For a summary of Lee’s talk, Building 21st Century Business, stay tuned to the HighQ blog where we’ll be posting the review later this week.

Next, HighQ clients Caroline Ferguson of Allen & Overy and Rosalie Tordoir of Van Doorne spoke, providing case studies into how the two firms leverage HighQ Collaborate to improve their working practices and communication across the firms.
Caroline Ferguson spoke about how Allen & Overy has used HighQ technology to transform business processes, boost transactional efficiency, engage with clients and promote internal collaboration.

Caroline described the benefits of using Collaborate as having one version of truth, where everyone involved in a deal can access up to date information and input on iSheets.

Rosalie Tordoir spoke about how Van Doorne’s implementation of HighQ Collaborate as their social intranet and how it has transformed the firm’s internal and external communication and collaboration.

Rosalie bravely did a live demonstration of microblogging on Van Doorne’s instance of Collaborate, which they call Van Doorne Forum. She took a picture of her audience and uploaded it to Forum for her colleagues back in the office to see.

After a short coffee break we heard from HighQ’s COO Stuart Barr and Product Director Ben Wightwick who laid out our product roadmaps for the coming year for Collaborate, Dataroom, Diligence and Publisher.
Ben Wightwick spoke about the future of HighQ Publisher and its ability to transform content marketing and digital publishing.

Stuart Barr gave a business update and spoke about HighQ’s product roadmap, including the upcoming features to be added in Collaborate’s next point releases.

In the evening we welcomed attendees to canapés and drinks in a roof-top bar with views of the sunset over Tower Bridge and the Thames.

Our clients had a chance to talk to HighQ employees and network with one another.

This year’s forum was the most well-attended so far and was enjoyable all round. Many thanks to our clients and guests who came along, and special thanks to those who took part to make the forum a great success.
Clients can watch videos from the forum on the Client Community site of HighQ Collaborate from next week.
