Infographic: The history of social collaboration

Over here at HighQ, we have a deep interest in the evolution of social technologies and how they have impacted our everyday lives, from “Twitter Revolutions” affecting regional politic landscapes to how these initially consumer led platforms have shaped enterprise collaboration software. It’s been a long story in the making but the past decade has seen the way people socialise, communicate and ultimately work together revolutionised by social platforms. As a tribute to all things social we’ve put together the following timeline of this intriguing story, we hope you enjoy it!

Amit leads financial strategy at HighQ. Prior to joining the business, Amit founded and built a prepaid credit card and e-money business, Blue Sky Card Solutions, which he successfully sold to the company’s largest UK competitor in 2012. Before setting up Blue Sky, Amit built a career within banking and private equity where he was involved in several multi-billion leveraged buy-outs, principal investments and other high profile real estate transactions with Bank of Scotland. Amit has a bachelor’s degree in Banking & International Finance from Cass Business School, London.
